3.4 Technical Information

When applicable, Tillvexa may process:

  • Application version
  • Operating system information
  • Device identifiers
  • Login and session information
  • Application errors and diagnostic information
  • Backup and synchronization status

We aim to limit collection to information necessary for providing, securing, maintaining, and improving the relevant services.

4. How We Use Information

We process information for purposes including:

  • Providing business management and POS functionality
  • Recording and retrieving authorized business transactions
  • Managing inventory, orders, invoices, and reports
  • Authenticating users and managing software access
  • Maintaining application settings and business records
  • Providing backup and recovery functionality
  • Synchronizing data when supported and enabled
  • Troubleshooting software problems
  • Maintaining security and preventing unauthorized access
  • Providing customer support
  • Meeting applicable legal obligations

We do not use customers’ private business transaction records for unrelated advertising purposes.

5. Local Data Storage

Certain Tillvexa desktop editions store operational data locally on the user’s computer.

Depending on the software edition and configuration, locally stored information may include business databases, application settings, images, attachments, and transaction records.

Local storage enables supported software functions to operate without a continuous internet connection.

Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate physical security, operating system access controls, and device protection.

Local data may remain on a device until removed by the user, deleted through supported application functions, or affected by device or storage failure.

6. Google Account and Google Drive Integration

Tillvexa is developing optional Google Drive backup and recovery functionality for supported desktop editions.

Where this functionality is available and enabled, users may authorize Tillvexa to access selected Google Drive resources through Google’s OAuth 2.0 authorization process.

6.1 Google Data Access

Tillvexa requests the Google permissions necessary to provide the selected functionality.

For Google Drive backup integration, the intended permission is the Google Drive drive.file scope, which permits an application to access files it creates or files the user specifically authorizes for use with the application.

Tillvexa does not require unrestricted access to a user’s entire Google Drive for this backup functionality.

6.2 How Google Data Is Used

Where the integration is operational and authorized, Tillvexa may use Google Drive access to:

  • Upload Tillvexa backup files
  • Identify and list backup files managed by Tillvexa
  • Download authorized backups for restoration
  • Update or replace application-managed backup files
  • Delete application-managed backups when the user requests deletion or enables a supported retention policy
  • Display backup and recovery status

Google Drive access is intended exclusively for the backup, recovery, and related file-management functionality presented to the user.

6.3 Google Account Information

Where Google authorization provides account identification information, Tillvexa may use it to identify the connected account, display connection status, and associate the authorized backup configuration with that account.

Tillvexa does not require access to Gmail messages, Google Contacts, or Google Calendar for its Google Drive backup functionality.

6.4 User Authorization and Control

Google Drive integration is optional.

Users may decline authorization and continue using supported offline software features.

Users can revoke an application’s Google Account access through their Google Account security settings.

Revoking access prevents further authorized Google Drive operations unless access is granted again. It does not necessarily delete backup files already stored in Google Drive.

6.5 Google API Limited Use

Tillvexa’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Google user data obtained through authorized APIs will not be sold to data brokers, used for targeted advertising, or transferred to advertising platforms.

Access to Google user data is limited to providing the requested functionality, maintaining security, complying with applicable law, and other uses expressly permitted by Google’s policies.

7. Backup and Data Recovery

Tillvexa may provide manual backup, scheduled local backup, and cloud backup functionality, depending on the edition and software version.

Supported backup packages may include:

  • Business database records
  • Sales and purchasing transactions
  • Inventory and product records
  • Customer and supplier information
  • Expenses and financial records
  • Product and business images
  • Uploaded attachments
  • Relevant business configuration and settings

Where supported, backups may be created locally and queued for cloud upload when an internet connection becomes available.

Backup completion and successful cloud upload are separate operations. A locally completed backup should not be considered cloud-protected until its upload has been confirmed.

Some backup systems may require a separate recovery key or password. Users must retain any such recovery information securely.

Backup availability, encryption, retention, and recovery capabilities depend on the installed version and enabled configuration.

8. Data Security

Tillvexa is committed to implementing appropriate technical and organizational safeguards for personal and business information.

Depending on the service, these safeguards may include:

  • Authentication and access controls
  • Role-based permissions
  • Protected application sessions
  • Encryption for supported backup functionality
  • Restricted access to application-managed data
  • Backup validation and recovery checks
  • Security updates and error monitoring

No software, storage device, network, or internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Users should maintain updated operating systems, protect account credentials, and retain independent backups of critical business information.

9. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

Tillvexa may use third-party infrastructure and service providers for functions such as authentication, hosting, storage, backup, and application delivery.

Depending on the edition and configuration, these services may include Google Drive and other cloud infrastructure providers.

Information is shared with such providers only where necessary for the relevant functionality, subject to applicable contractual, technical, and legal protections.

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, a valid legal process, or where necessary to protect the security and rights of users and the service.

We do not sell personal information or private business transaction data to data brokers.

10. Data Ownership and Business Records

Customers retain their rights to business information they enter into Tillvexa, subject to applicable law and third-party rights.

Tillvexa does not claim ownership of customers’ original business records, product images, customer lists, or transaction data merely because those records are processed through the software.

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights and lawful basis to collect and process information about their own customers, employees, and suppliers.

11. Data Retention

Data retention depends on the type of information, the software edition, the selected storage location, and applicable legal requirements.

Locally stored business data may remain on the customer’s device until deleted or otherwise removed.

Cloud backup files may remain in the authorized storage account until deleted by the user, removed under an enabled retention policy, or affected by the third-party storage provider’s policies.

Certain account, licensing, support, security, and transaction-related information may be retained where reasonably necessary for service delivery, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance.

12. Data Access, Correction, and Deletion

Users may request assistance with accessing, correcting, or deleting personal information controlled by Tillvexa.

Requests can be submitted to:

tillvexa@gmail.com

We may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority before processing a request.

Where business data is stored exclusively on a customer’s local device or personal Google Drive account, Tillvexa may not have direct access to that information.

Users may need to delete such information directly through the software, device storage, or their Google Drive account.

Deletion requests are subject to applicable legal obligations and legitimate retention requirements.

13. Software Licensing and Device Access

Certain Tillvexa editions may use account authentication, device registration, session management, and licensing controls.

Information processed for these purposes may be used to verify authorized software access, manage permitted devices, prevent unauthorized use, and maintain account security.

Licensing-related information is not used to access unrelated personal files on a user’s computer.

14. Children’s Privacy

Tillvexa is designed primarily for business and professional use.

Our products and services are not directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our account registration services.

If we become aware of such collection without an appropriate lawful basis, we will take suitable steps to address it.

15. International Data Processing

Tillvexa services may involve infrastructure or service providers operating in different countries.

Where personal information is transferred or processed internationally, we aim to apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection requirements.

Users should review the policies of third-party services they choose to connect, including Google Drive.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

  • New software editions and features
  • Changes to backup and cloud integrations
  • Changes to information processing practices
  • Security improvements
  • Applicable legal or regulatory requirements

The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent before introducing materially different uses of personal information.
